Our day retreat offers a sacred space for connection, ritual-making, and personal reflection for anyone experiencing loss in its many forms–including (and not limited to) infertility, pregnancy or infant loss, the death of a loved one or pet, as well as losses related to career or relationships. Together, we’ll explore the importance of honoring our losses while navigating the season’s challenges.

Join us for a day retreat dedicated to navigating the holiday season.
This meaningful day will include the following:
- Weaving of the Web: A powerful connection activity where participants share a word and intention, wrapping yarn around their wrists to symbolize shared experiences. Facilitated by Jennifer (she/her) & Mercy (she/her).
- Guided Stretch: A gentle session to bring movement into the body for grounding and centering. Led by Alisa Doell-Weber (she/her).
- Bath Salt Creation: Craft your own bath salts while invoking the senses, to use during the season or carry as a comforting companion. With Danyelle (she/her), Jennifer (she/her) & Mercy (she/her).
- Holiday Ornaments: Create and decorate ornaments to honor and symbolize your unique journey. With Danyelle (she/her), Jennifer (she/her) & Mercy (she/her).
- A Conversation with Aditi Loveridge (she/her) on “Its Okay Not to Be Okay” — A supportive, guided discussion that concludes with a calming sound bowl centering.

- Breakfast and lunch catered by Foodworks
As a registered charity, we are committed to making our events accessible and barrier-free for anyone navigating loss. To keep our events affordable and accessible, we rely on donations. If you feel moved to support us, please consider making a general donation or purchase a ‘Pay it Forward’ ticket. This will cover a full day of connection, reflection, and nourishing meals for a community member in need.

This retreat is for anyone experiencing loss in its many forms, including infertility, pregnancy or infant loss, the death of a loved one or pet, or losses related to careers or relationships. It is a welcoming space for connection, reflection, and healing.
This retreat is designed for adults only. We kindly ask that you arrange childcare in advance to ensure the space remains focused on healing.
The $30 fee includes all retreat activities, materials for crafts, a light breakfast, and a catered lunch.
BREAKFAST: Breakfast bread selections combo w/ chef selection muffins + fruit breads. Includes fresh fruit salad + bottled water
LUNCH: Artisan sandwich, salad, and soup combo:
SANDWICHES: w/ Roast turkey, Herbed cranberry chicken salad, Alberta beef + cheddar, Grilled vegetable + hummus
SALADS: Arugula + fresh berry, Garden green salad, Asian sesame udon noodle
SOUPS: A play on caldo verde (Sausage, kale & bean), Puree of butternut squash w/ smoked maple + sage

Bring yourself and anything that helps you feel comfortable, such as a journal, a water bottle, a yoga mat, a pillow, or a cozy sweater. All materials for activities will be provided.
