Divine Mother is a short film that explores pregnancy loss, Black maternal healthcare, and what it means to be a parent through the journey of Aneka and Miguel, a couple on a road trip through the Southwest.
Their story is as hopeful as it is heartbreaking in depicting experiences that so many couples face, yet so few talk about. We’re on a mission to share Divine Mother with audiences to start honest conversations about these topics and to help would-be parents feel less alone.
