Journeying through Loss: A 6-week Adult Art Therapy Group
Art therapy utilizes the healing potential of art-making within a therapeutic framework. Instead of relying on words alone, art therapy helps to give feelings a visual form, making them easier to process within the safety of the therapeutic relationship and the communal healing circle of the support group.
The Art of Healing: A Child and Parent Art Therapy Series
When a family experiences a loss of a child, caregivers are often not able to be physically, mentally, emotionally and/or spiritually present in their roles as caregivers. This group will help to release feelings of shame, guilt and judgment that caregivers may experience while enhancing the loving bond between them and their child through the shared joy of play and creative art therapies.
The Grief Recovery Method
This series is ideal for adults who have experienced the pain of loss through miscarriage, infertility, stillbirth, neonatal loss, or Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and who are seeking support in moving through their grief. Our Grief Recovery Method Group will allow you the opportunity to share and connect with other people who have experienced similar or different losses in a safe and non-judgmental environment. This is not a drop-in style group, so weekly attendance of the program is vital for maximum benefit in the healing and recovery process.
