Two Pink Lines

So let’s talk pregnancy after loss. One of the hardest parts of pregnancy after loss is the wide array of feelings.

There’s happiness; I mean you wanted this! You are releived to see those 2 pink lines and so excited to start/add to your family!

Then there is the anxiety; you had a loss last time or times. Thoughts start to go through your head of things happening again. You worry about how you would handle another loss, “are you strong enough to deal with another loss?”

Then there’s the guilt; how can I feel so scared, anxious, angry, etc. but also feel happy, joyful, excited, etc.

All of these feelings, and more, are completely normal! Remember that feelings don’t happen in a vacuum, you can have multiple.

Folks, if you feel comfortable, that have had losses, what other feelings did you experience?

Thank you @the.mommy.therapist for #sharingmystoryofloss with us! 💜
