The Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Centre has a large community of volunteers and staff across Canada who help us deliver our support programs and events. Whether you have experienced loss yourself or hold the cause close to your heart, there is a place for you on our team. We could not do this important work without generous people such as yourself. Join us today as we continue to change the narrative around loss.
What We Provide Our Volunteers
At the Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Centre, we value our volunteers. Our priority is to make sure our volunteers feel prepared, supported, and valued throughout your time with us. To help make your experience a positive one with us, we provide:
- A dedicated team lead and volunteer team to check-in and debrief whenever needed.
- Comprehensive training on peer support, grief & loss, inclusivity, accessibility, language and more.
- A monthly check-in meeting with frequent guest speakers and connection with other volunteers.
- Full and encouraged access to our services (including our coaches and counsellors).
- Opportunities for continued learning.
