Peer Support Groups

We offer FREE specialized peer support groups to meet you exactly where you are. Our group facilitators are either mental health professionals or peers who have also experienced loss.

Initial Grief (Late Pregnancy & Infant Loss)

Ideal for: Individuals navigating the early days of late miscarriage/pregnancy or infant loss grief and looking to connect with others in a safe, nonjudgmental environment

This is a 8-week professionally facilitated, peer-driven support group for individuals and partners who have experienced late miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal loss, loss of a multiple or missed adoption. This group provides a space to connect, validate your experience, and and hold space to process your grief as you navigate your journey.

Who is this group for? Individuals and partners who have recently experienced late miscarriage/pregnancy or infant loss who are seeking more support in moving through their grief. This group is intended to be a starting point in connecting with our other groups.

Fertility 8-Week Support Group

Ideal for: Those who are entering into or currently navigating the fertility journey (including secondary infertility, the surrogacy route and those using donor eggs, donor sperm, freezing eggs, etc.), open to birthing and non-birthing individuals.

This 8-week group is a professionally facilitated, peer-driven group that is designed to discuss the many emotions that surface in a fertility journey. This group allows participants to gain self-awareness and self-direction within their own unique journeys.

Who is this group for? Individuals and partners who are trying to conceive either naturally or through assisted fertility and are seeking additional support. You do not need to have been previously pregnant or experienced pregnancy or infant loss to attend.

2SLGBTQIA+ Fertility and Loss Group

Ideal for: Persons in the LGBTQ2S+ community who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss (birthing persons, non-birthing persons, partners, surrogates, donors, etc.)

This is a casual peer support group that provides a safe, non-judgmental space for those who identify within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. This group holds space for the diverse ways that 2SLGBTQIA+ parents build their families (ie: assisted fertility, surrogacy, chosen family, adoption) and/or experience loss on their paths to parenthood. We recognize that all parents need a safe and affirming space to navigate their journey.

Who is this group for? This group is for individuals who are part of gender and/or sexually diverse populations including but not limited to Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex, and asexual individuals. People in any stage of parenthood and/or loss are welcome, you do not need to have experienced pregnancy or infant loss to attend. This group is open to birthing persons, non-birthing persons, partners, caregivers, chosen family, surrogates, donors, etc.

Pregnant After Loss Support Group

Ideal for: Individuals who are Pregnant again after Previous Pregnancy or Infant loss

This is a casual peer support group that provides a safe, non-judgmental space for individuals who are pregnant again after a previous loss to connect with others who can relate to the unique challenges of pregnancy after loss.

Who is this group for? Individuals who are currently pregnant again after miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal loss, or SIDS/SUDC who want to connect with others who are in a similar phase of the journey.

South Asian Pregnancy & Infant Loss Group

Ideal for: Punjabi speaking Individuals and Parents who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss

This is a two-part professionally facilitated and peer-driven group that allows individuals and parents in the South Asian community who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss to connect in a non-judgmental and safe setting.

Who is this group for? Individuals and partners who speak Punjabi, Hindi or Urdu who has experienced pregnancy or infant loss and want to connect in a culturally aware and affirming space. Group will be facilitated in Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu and English.

Ideal for: Partners (the non-birthing person) who have also experienced loss

This is a casual peer support group that acknowledges the unique and often disenfranchised grief that men and male-identifying partners experience in their journey of infertility and/or of losing a baby or child.

Who is this group for? This group is for men and male-identifying partners who want a safe space to connect with others who can relate.
