In this reflective online workshop, facilitators will guide participants through a thoughtful process of combining simple words and images into a visual story that is all their own. You will have the opportunity to connect memories and symbols of your journey, drawing, scribbling, colouring, or shaping them in whatever way you feel comfortable. The result will be a collection of your own images, inspired by graphic medicine style storytelling. Our focus will be on gathering in community and sharing space together to explore inner thoughts and emotions around experiences of pregnancy and infant loss, through visual storytelling.
There is no art experience needed. This process does not require drawing skills, just an openness to express yourself with visual materials.
