Join us in June! Legacy Run/Walk to Support Infertility, Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness

The PILSC Legacy Run/Walk takes place on June 25, 2023, at Nose Creek Park in Airdrie, Alberta. The event aims to raise awareness and funds for infertility, pregnancy, and infant loss. This family-inclusive event raises vital funds to provide no-cost support and community services through the Pregnancy & Infant Loss Support Centre (PILSC). The journey through loss is complex, and PILSC believes no one should have to walk through it alone.

With a lofty fundraising goal of $100,000 this year, the funds raised will allow the continuation of programming and counselling to be available to everyone at no-cost.

New for this year, the new registration platform allows for team fundraising! We saw multiple teams last year and would love to see even more people join together to honour their babies. Set fundraising goals, compete against teams and have fun.

Snacks! The run/walk also features a beverage garden, pre-run snacks, and post-run food trucks to fill you up after you run. Participants are encouraged to use their fitness watch or tracker app on their phone to time their run, as there will be no chip timers this year. Using headphones is strongly discouraged during the race for safety reasons.

Last year’s PILSC Legacy Run/Walk exceeded its fundraising goal, with $93,695 raised out of a $60,000 goal. We had 350 people attend, which was a complete honour to host our community. New for this year, all individuals that register will be able to participate in the butterfly release as part of the registration fee.

Join the PILSC Legacy Run/Walk and help raise awareness and funds for infertility, pregnancy, and infant loss. Register today and walk for every person who knows the profound impacts that infertility, pregnancy, and infant loss have.
